TU negotiates on a new collective agreement in the
ICT industry
TU
(16.08.2010)
The Union of Salaried Employees TU and the employer
association Tikli will
continue their collective bargaining on Tuesday. Although the old ICT
industry collective agreement expired at the end of June, work at work
places should
be
conducted in a regular manner, Arto Heikkilä is keen to
stress. Within the
union Heikkilä is responsible for bargaining in the ICT industry.
- Until a new agreement is in force, the regulations of the old agreement
are part of each employee's
personnel work contract.
Heikkilä wishes to remind everyone that as long as the old agreement has any
post-impacts
on the working conditions one should not sign any new local or personnel
agreements.
The national negotiations were interrupted in late June for a number of
reasons, such as the slow progress of the common task forces set out for the
parties.
TU's
ICT ind ustry
collective agreement
concerns
15,000 salaried employees.
